Formed at the
beginning of the 20th century, Imperial Eastman originated the
now familiar compression nut & sleeve design fitting. This style
fitting became the starting block for the global recognition of the
Imperial Eastman name, and indeed the trademark Diamond “I” Logo is
regarded as the very benchmark of quality that many users specify in
today’s ever increasing market place.
Since their
inception in 1907, Imperial Eastman has developed a vast range of
fittings; tubing and tube related tooling, all easily recognisable by the
familiar Diamond “I” logo. In 1996 Imperial
Eastman was bought by Mark IV Industrial, (a division of the Dayco
Industries group), and as a result was renamed Dayco Imperial. The
manufacturing facilities of Imperial Eastman, along with the Diamond
“I” logo, has been retained by Dayco, and is still a very important
part of the product range manufactured today. For almost a
century, the Imperial brand name and logo has been recognised as a product
of extremely high quality, and which despite competition from others
trying to match its excellent characteristics, is still unrivalled today.
